What are the precautions for cleaning plate heat exchangers

It is strictly forbidden to use hydrochloric acid to clean the plate heat exchanger. The plate heat exchanger should be regularly inspected and repaired. The thermal efficiency is significantly reduced, and the pressure drop should be cleaned when the pressure drop changes significantly. The cleaning work can open the equipment and wash the plates one by one. The result is serious scale. Remove the plate and lay it flat for cleaning;

If you use chemical cleaners, you can circulate the inside of the equipment. If there is mechanical cleaning, use soft brushes. Steel brushes are forbidden to avoid scratching the plates. After the equipment is washed, dry the plates and rubber pads with a clean cloth. Foreign particles and fibers are not allowed in the room; during the cleaning process, the rubber pads and degummed rubber pads to be replaced should be adhered firmly, and carefully check whether they are uniform before assembly, and the excess adhesive should be wiped clean.

The thermal efficiency of the plate heat exchanger is 3~5 times higher than that of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger; compact structure: the plates of the plate heat exchanger are closely arranged, compared with other heat exchanger types, the area and occupation of the plate heat exchanger The space is less, the area of the plate heat exchanger with the same heat exchange is only 1/5 of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger; it is easy to clean and disassemble: the plate heat exchanger is clamped by clamping bolts to clamp the clamping plates , So it is easy to disassemble and assemble, and can be opened for cleaning at any time.

At the same time, because the plate surface is smooth, the turbulence is high, and it is not easy to scale; the service life is long: the plate heat exchanger is pressed by stainless steel or titanium alloy plates, which can withstand various corrosive media, glue The pad can be replaced at will, and it is convenient for disassembly, assembly and maintenance.
