What are the installation methods of plate heat exchangers

The plate heat exchanger is divided into two installation methods according to whether there is a saddle support or not. The first is that for plate heat exchangers without saddle brackets, the heat exchanger should be installed on a brick saddle foundation. After installation, the plate heat exchanger does not need to be fixed to the foundation at the moment, and the entire plate exchange can expand with expansion. The changes move freely. In the second type, for the slab replacement with saddle support, the concrete should be laid flat on the foundation first, and the saddle support should be completely fixed to the ground concrete with anchor bolts after it is completely dry.

Plate heat exchangers are normally used in 150℃-180℃ saturated steam rubber pressure gaskets, and their service life is 3-5 years or longer, while the service life is only a few months when used in superheated steam at about 130℃. This is because saturated steam can form a water film on the surface of the gasket, which effectively protects the gasket at high temperatures. Therefore, when using steam, not only must pay attention to whether its temperature is suitable for the gasket, but also the degree of superheat is an important factor that cannot be ignored.

During the installation of the plate heat exchanger, sufficient space should be left at the front and rear ends of the heat exchanger for maintenance and cleaning. The heat exchanger must not be operated under conditions exceeding the conditions specified on the nameplate. The temperature and pressure of the heat exchanger medium must be observed and analyzed to prevent abnormal operation of the heat exchanger. The heat exchange effect of the heat exchanger has a lot to do with scale. The more scale, the less ideal the heat exchange effect. Therefore, the scale on the heat exchange fins should be cleaned in time. In order to avoid excessive fouling affecting the heat exchange effect.
