However, the coiled-tube heat exchanger is bulky and cumbersome; the unit heat transfer area has a large amount of metal consumption and low heat transfer efficiency.
Advantages: Simple structure, easy to prevent corrosion, and can withstand high pressure.
Disadvantages: Since the volume of the container is much larger than the volume of the tube, the surface heat transfer coefficient of the fluid outside the tube is small. In order to increase the heat transfer coefficient, a stirrer can be installed in the container.
